Marc Stein reported that DMC came to us first and offered to sign with us for the MLE. Magic turned him away and informed him we were going another direction.

I had to create an account. I am not sure how you can blame any of this on Magic?

  1. Thunder did not want to trade PG to where PG said he wanted to be traded to. They opted to go with the best offer from an eastern conference team. NOT an easy get it makes it harder to get PG because of him going public about his desire to sign with Lakers.

You do know he went from Indiana to the Thunder right? From east to a WEST COAST TEAM. lol

It's too late for a Tank! That's the problem. Either way we are ****.

Not to late at all , lottery odds changed this year. Teams in lottery 2-14 have better chance at 1.

Now Lakers is reaping the damage Magic and Pelinka has done just to please LBJ to have another championship this season. LBJ knows his body will be in the worst condition next season that is why he is on a fastract for a championship and his solution is to add at least 2 superstars to the team to help him. This is to the detriment of the telented young cores who's existence LBJ doesn't care at all.

Now its payback time for the young cores, they don't want to produce, if LBJ wants his cake, they let bake alone. These young cores are very smart, and they don't want to be treated like throw away pawnd. This team is now experiencing irreparable damage and expect more losses. Solution requires very drastic action and one of them is to trade LBJ for good.

They're not trading LeBron. The young core will be gone this summer, as bad as that'll be.

We can try tanking. We have had such great luck with that as of late. This team has been in "tank" mode for the last how many seasons? We have gotten worse.

I really do not think this team is really as bad as it looked last night. I think that with all the media hoopla about the trades young players who only have played for the Lakers since they got in the NBA are hurt that they were considered one of the most dangerous teams in the western division and all of a sudden injuries happen with crucial players and they have lost several games. Plus now all of a sudden the manager thinks because they have not been winning like they were before the injuries, the whole team is up for trade for one super star player. How do you think these young players feel? I will tell you how they feel, their moral is way down and they feel betrayed, even though that is part of the business in the NBA. I think LeBron done a lot of damage to this good young team. Would not surprise me if he really was not injured as bad as he claimed, but he wanted to expose that he needed more matured players to surround him for this season. And by exposing the youth we had and with several injured, it really looked bad for the management of the Lakers, and probably started listening to LeBron. Who knows, but the Lakers when healthy were doing just fine. Fact they were up to fourth place in the standing in the tough west. I believe Magic needs to keep his trade moves behind close doors and keep the media out of it. Too many Charles Barkley's out there that hate the Lakers and do not want them to get a AD type player. He has convinced the coach of the Pelicans to rebuke every offer the....

Don't think its necessary the tanking, as not getting lucky and getting star or superstar player out of it. Plus the lakers impatient on waiting for them to develop.

I think "I told you so"s are for morons, but "I told you so!"

Yes, I was for signing LeBron -- but not for four years. He will be THIRTY EIGHT at the end of this contract. Just when BI, Zu, Zo and Kuz are All-Stars for another team.

Magic Johnson's motto: "Don't trust the process."
