BI usually checks out a lot during away games. Low awareness, slower pace offensively. Kuz also looks very bad tonight. If just one of those two aren’t going then it’s hard to beat any elite team

I thought BI had a good game overall, but the team had a collective meltdown in the 4th. The constant barrage of 3’s can be very demoralizing and those suspect calls did not help the cause either.

Have to agree with you here. These are kids after all and these rumors would mess with you. Constant uncertainty looming over their heads. As bad as JimChak were, they kept stuff in house.

It's called business. It's how it goes. They need to get over it.

I actually tuned in at about 9 minutes in the 4th. I saw the stat sheet and it seemed he overall had a good game, but in the 4th he looked like early season BI again. It wasn't like I was expecting to win though, so his performance is understandable. The Warriors are that good. We'd be up 40 points and I still think they would come back and win if there was ample time left.

Collective melt down in the 4th?!?! That's new.

The Warriors have a system that is hard to crack: They have five guys who can get hot from the three point line; at least one of them usually is hot and they feed him. We have maybe one marginal three point shooter -- Kuz. And he looks like a dead man walking since the trade rumors started.

In real danger of not even making the playoffs. Yes Injuries haven't helped but all teams have them and we can't keep looking for excuses. We simply aren't good enough.

Imo missing the playoffs is unacceptable.

I don't understand. Why Bench Wagner ans have rondo on the bench to start the 4th. Dumb.

Read on BR that veterans like Beasley and others confronted Luke after the game. Almost got physical.

Luke deserves it.like i said, he kept playing this guys inconsistently. Plays well, gets bench then gets cold, 2 months ago, players on the team will start to turn it on him. You can't have rhythm. We really have lost a lot of games because of him. Also, we can't be losing to Knicks and Cavs. I think he will be fired, young core gets traded for AD. Heard the Pels will counteroffer deal. Which might include another player, Randle perhaps?

Oof. I Have been a Luke supporter but if he loses the locker room (not saying that he has lost ours, this stuff happens, healthy part of competition) then he has no more business coaching them.

Reading the tweets from Shams, Luke was preaching about unselfish play and targeted the vets (Beas, McGee, Lance). After a loss things get touchy, especially after a frustrating stretch, but definitely heats up his seat when the media and fanbase pick up on it.

Magic signed these three for their toughness and Dog. But it appears that they are flexing their muscle on Luke. Lmao

Players are too emotional because their name are mention in the trade rumors. Players started to disrespect luke because lebron probably wanted luke gone so lebron might be behind these shzz. lol

I am curious to know whether or not luke coaching way is the way front office ordered or luke coaching his own way?

Lukes coaching style hurts the players confidence. He isn't the right coach for our young core.

I think more than Luke’s coaching (jury is out on that as well) it’s the mind boggling signing of 4 combustible personalities by the FO on the pretext of assembling a goon squad. Couple that with the rampant trade rumors. These are vets for sure, but being potentially displaced from your workplace/current home is no fun.

Let's see what our GM -- LeBron --wants. Then we will know Luke's fate.

Randle probably won’t be a part of that because 1) he averages 19 and 9 boards on 9 million per season with a player option that he may exercise. I read some where that Solomon Hill with his 12 million per season salary would be a candidate. Bye bye third max player, lol.

I am not a huge fan of Luke Walton and he sometimes reminds me of the bumbling coach from The Waterboy, but we wouldn't have won that game Phil Jackson coaching. Our team has many issues, with coaching being just one of them. I honestly blame that loss on our GM LeBron James. If you are not completely healthy, DON'T COME BACK!!! 17 games not enough for the King? Maybe we are not paying him enough? I hate to say it, but this team is unbearable without LeBron and Lonzo out there. I am starting to think signing that dude was a bad idea.

Someone mentioned it earlier, and I apologise in advance for not giving you credit. Not making the playoffs this season is unacceptable. With LeBron taking every other game off, we are looking like we are heading that direction. Expectations.... I know, but this team should at the very least, make 6th or 7th seed. Injuries..... I know, but these guys are professional basketball players. Go out there and put up a fight. I see no heart in these guys. I do see A Hart throwing up 20 three pointers missing a majority of them. Trade rumors...... I know, but this is a business. This is how the game is played. They need to put their feelings aside and get over it. This will not be the first time their names are mentioned in trade rumors. If anything, they should be stoked that they have value and there is a demand for their services. Come on Lakers, get your **** together.

Came across a post that compared season records v this point last year.

Lakers were 20-31 last year and are currently 27-26 this year.

Yes Injuries have played their part but that is a pretty uninspiring improvement.

They have the 3rd hardest remaining schedule with the next 15 games @Pacers, @Celtics, @76ers, @Hawks, vs Rockets, @Pelicans, @Grizz, vs Pelicans, vs Bucks, @ Suns, vs Clippers, vs Nuggets, vs Celtics.

It's not looking good for a playoff push unless things change quickly.

Think injuries played a big part!!!

Personally didn't care about them making playoffs, didn't think when they got there, they'd get very far. Was looking to see how core developed and summer FA.

Looks like core might be developing on another team.
