This is the singular factor which makes me turn on these youngsters. Every time I try to root for them and then they show no heart or desire to compete. You cannot coach or develop those intangibles. I’ve never seen the youngsters from Boston fall flat like this on their faces. No pride, no fkn shame.

It's like someone literally has to flip a switch for these guys to compete. I've never seen anything likes this. Not sure why they can't just go all out from the get go.

Do you really think it's that easy to add muscle mass? The only people able to add 20lbs of muscle in a year is a newbie who hasn't done weight lifting before.

Ingram couldn't add 10lbs a year if he lifted all day every day.

It’s not like these are vets. Wearing the purple and gold and playing in the nba is a privilege. Toss that sense of entitlement in the garbage before you show up to play.

Of course not. Just saying that management instructed him to not go too hard because the number one concern with him was his weight and strength. I don’t by any means expect him to build into an exceptional musclehead, but atleast build himself where he has enough strength to not get bullied by point guardsz KD couldn’t lift a bar when he came into the league but he’s not getting pushed around now, his frame is not filled out, he’s still very skinny. There is significant improvement between now and BI’s rookie season. I’m afraid it’ll take a bit longer for him however, Laker fans are in it for now

22 points already for BI. I hope he can keep it up when Bron comes back. He looks tons better playing off the ball now compared to earlier this season

I know what your saying. The franchise should have some of the best trainers and nutritionalists out there and know a hell of a lot more than I do. But He already made his huge gain through college where he added like 20lbs or something. He just isn't going to make gains like that again so it's going to take him years to add another 20 he quite possibly never will.

Having everyone out with injury was the only way Ingram can gain some confidence it seems. On the other hand, Zu looks horrendous. It’s just one game, but I’ve been saying he’s better off the bench. He played well starting against PHX but...that’s PHX. Without their best center no less.

Impressive pass/decision making by BI. Hart to KCP. Zu with a great board. They’re playing with level heads now. That first quarter was very alarming

McGee might have the lowest iq on the team, he’s right there with Beas.

I’d say Kuz is right up there. His explosive scoring streaks will mask it at times but you know something is up when he attempts to drive the lane when it’s clogged on a regular basis.

Floor spacing by the lakers is horrendous. Trade these Half azz assistants by the trade deadline, before you trade the players.

Or the way he taps away the defensive rebound falling harmlessly into his lap. That’s the funniest blooper in the entire league.

/facepalm

He’s an ideal scorer based off his skill set, but his inflated scoring stats fools the entire basketball world into thinking he’s “special”

Must say BI has been the most impressive laker today. However I want to see him string together a series of similar performances. You cannot have one good game followed by 5 rubbish exhibitions.

This team in it's current form is unbearable to watch. We need to get guys healthy because we are by far one of the worst teams in the league.

I have this suspicion they LeBron is saving his return for the ASG. I'm telling you right now that I will lose it if he pulls that crap.

Last 5 games he’s been great I’d say. He’s consistently been good as of late. More opportunity to show what he really can do, he’s no scrub. He’s getting better playing off the ball though which is his biggest weakness IMO other than his strength.

Was hoping to see Ingram get buckets since he somehow comes through in the 4th regularly. That three by Muscala might be the dagger.

He had a really efficient and effective game tonight. 16 of 20. Credit where credit is due.

The rest of the team was 27 of 71. Never going to win with shooting like that. This upcoming clipper game is must win.

Curiously Zubac barely played 17 mins. I feel they want to keep him and are trying not to showcase him too much.

He was garbage for most of his minutes. I assume Luke just did his usual thing and went with whoever he felt was better. Javale certainly looked better than him tonight

I hate it when those buffoons on tnt keep insisting that this is a team without Lebron. They are without Lebron, Zo, Kuz and a partially healthy Chandler.

Javale had as many turnovers as Rondo and made some boneheaded plays. Zubac was shutdown after the half, maybe the flagrant by Embiid played a factor. They probably want to keep everyone out of harm’s reach before the deadline.

Edit: He had 2 TO’s...my bad...but it did seem like he was passing a lot to the opposition. Lol.

A lot of credit goes to Rondo for finding Ingram in his sweet spots and allowing him to play off the ball. I know a lot of folks out here keep insisting that BI is effective when he’s handling the ball. However I have been adamant that he’s never been forced to play off the ball since the coaching staff always wants him to facilitate and handle the ball especially with the second unit. He has thus become over dependent on having the ball in his hands to be productive. They never designed set plays for him or try to force feed him early, in order to boost his confidence. I feel Bi ‘s progress has been hindered/limited by the coaches and his game looked mono dimensional, until he got to play some heavy mins with Rondo in these last few games. The lakers/ coaches suck at developing youngsters, since they cannot chalk out an individual roadmap to map their core competencies.

Today’s game was a great indicator that he has a larger repertoire then he gets credit for. Secondly he’s playing with someone who is a maestro at half court sets and PNR. Someone who takes upon the burden of facilitating on his shoulders, which in turn allows BI to roam (and cut) on the court freely without the ball. It’s time for BI to drop the training wheels. Wish the next coach we hire is Rondo. I wouldn’t mind having him as player/ coach.

To be honest, I think Luke is fine, staff is what needs to change. Think Magic will force him to let his college buddies go from staff and up grade if he's kept pass this season.

Read today over on hoopshype that Jason Kidd is very much in the mix. Luke is on the hotseat according to the rumor mill.
