The turning point in the game was when Donovan subbed out Schroeder for Westbrook. I was ecstatic when that happened cause Schroeder was killing us. Westbrook always gives you hope!

Luke going to send Zu back to the doghouse the minute he has a mediocre game. Wait for it.....

So nice to not see Ingram running the offense to close the game. He is much better off ball.

37 assists will get it done everyday and on a Sunday. BI and Zo accounted for 21 assists. Hart flew under the radar. His relentless hustle and grit was critical to keep us in it till the end.

I feel we may need to trade away one center soon(McGee probably). No way Zu comes behind 2 less skilled/washed up C’s.

This is the state of affairs of lakers player development. They didn’t notice Zubac coming along. Most of our development has been incidental.

I'm not sure. To be honest, I'm comfortable with those 3 players. They help & fend off each other, not to mention Mcgee & Tyson are both champions. Unlike Kuz & Ingram they don't have much chemistry together.

That is one of the nagatives of having a marquee player who you essentially have to put in the game. It was sort of like us having Kobe. N matter how great the team on the floor is playing and is smoking hot, it's time to enter the Mamba because it's the 4th quarter and we are only up 10, he's 3-19, and he will us to victory.

I'm not sure what happened last night but that looked like a team that was playing as a team, not as a bunch of individuals trying to get theirs. I didn't mind Brandon's shooting night because he did other things to help get a victory. Those nights will happen and he was being garded by a good defender in PG13 too.

His long wingspan really comes in handy on the defensive end of the floor; to alter shots and grab those erratic rebounds. I was really thrilled to see his assist numbers. He pissed me off initially as he was forcing a few shots and playing recklessly with his head down. However he made an adjustment in the second half and started to defer. He had the most assists today which suggests that he was looking to make the right plays and set up his teammates. This is the BI I can live with.

This is more of the Ingram I saw in the second half of last season, the one I prefer. He needs to let the game come to him a little more and stop trying to become a 20+ per game scorer. Once his body is heavier and stronger then that will come but doing these other things that are smart is what I have truly liked about him from the beginning.

I remember I kept telling my friend when I saw Ingram as a rookie, he doesn’t try to force anything and makes good basketball decisions. Then come last season he wot trying to score more, same thing this season and he’s not there yet.

He ended up with 7/30. This is the stuff which used to me give me nightmares, not too long ago. Lol. He makes it easy for defenses to guard them, since you basically just load up on him and dare him to shoot tough contested shots. It’s so predictable. He falls for it every time and let’s his ego get the better of him. I’m hoping we make the playoffs and go through them in the early rounds.

Luke really makes the lineups harder than what they should be. I mean whatever big has it going, flow with it. Vice versa for any other position.

Luke is very similar to Byron.

Players running iso plays. Check.

Bad Rotation. Check.

Preference for Vets. Check.

The problem for me is the FO. If they could stop the talk of Luke is coaching for his job this season he would be more inclined to develop some of the players.

Same here. This game actually has me excited about what they'll look like against Houston. I hope they play the same way.

I agree and disagree at the same time.

Players running iso plays, no argument there and it annoys me to see this. I feel he wants a free motion system but doesn't seem to take control when that's not happening.

Bad rotation, I'm conflicted on this one. Why? He gets a different roster every season because management wants to only give out one year deals or some guys have been traded and also injuries.

Preference for vets, I'm also on the fence about this one too. I sometimes wonder if pressure is coming from up top about winning now and not developing kids and being patient with them. The culture in LA is no time for development, we want established stars.

I'm not a Luke apologist but I don't think he has a roster that contains AD, Randle, Holiday and Mirotic. The Pelicans shouldn't be under .500 imo but we are always hearing about Luke's job with a team with a lot of sub 23 year olds who aren't on the level of a guy like AD and Holiday

These refs always want to come out after the fact and admit where they were wrong regarding Zo's foul. I swear these refs are getting worse and worse.

On the flip side you have the Kings who are right behind the Lakers. Who from the Kings roster would you want on the Lakers?

As I said, I firmly believe that the FO are dictating it's about winning not development. As a coach that's a no win situation.

I’d take both Fox and Hield from that team. Marvin Bagley III looks promising too.

I do believe management is about win now, no matter the roster, injuries or whatever.

Over Ball and Ingram?

Anyways hope this is the roster turning the corner and not just turning up for the big games.

Ingram is a SF who is just at the SG position but I would take Fox over Ball due to his mentality which seems better. Ball’s mentality is up and down. Last night Ball was engaged and it showed but he isn’t always like that.
