Kuz is 2/13. How the fk is he still there? Stop this number 2 to Lebron crap. They have to do it collectively. Enough of this fkn auditions for being the number 2 to Lebron. You have to play together while moving the ball...and quit hero ball. I’m really pissed with the coach for not benching the azzhats who are doing that.

Stephen A. Smith sure thinks so. He doesn't have a clue.

Sas has been wrong so many times. His recent NFL takes have been borderline Comedy Central. Lol.

Why can’t anyone catch a basic pass?

This game's in the toilet: the door is open, the lights are on, the butter's getting soft, the eggs are cracking, and the Jell-O's meltin'!

14 assists is not gonna win you ball games. Ball accounted for 6 of them. Trash all around.

Terrible game by all the Lakers. The defense was just not there tonight, and neither was the offense. Kuz was a no show tonight.

Utah has always been tough in Utah. I remember when Malone was still playing, they were tough and the fans were loud. Coached by Sloan and he was a tough coach.

"What were Pelinka and Magic thinking? According to the Lakers’ GM, it was all part of their plan. "No one is going to beat them at their own game. That’s why we wanted to add these elements of defense and toughness and depth, and try to look at areas where we’ll have an advantage," he explained at a press conference, per Lakers Nation."

That quote still cracks me up lol

Bi and Kuz had 1 assist combined. Lol. Lonzo Ball has no business taking 13 shots when the shot is not falling. The coach has to step in and take the young Pg to the side and talk some sense into his noggin. You cannot take more than 9-10 fga when you know it’s not your day and when the shot is not going down. Give it up and defer. Try again next game.

Mamba mentality? Let’s talk mamba mentality. Mamba mentality not only entails taking volume shots(unfortunately) but also making some of them in the process. That mentality is there on all game days and not just once every 10 games. What kind of 1 on 1 iso bs did I just see today wherein a small forward/ tweaner aka Kuz takes on a 7’3 center and tries to score on him? He then gets blocked with monotonous regularity. What laws of physics are you trying to defy? You cannot win when the ball disappears into the black hole. It’s no fun playing with a ball hog who refuses to pass it back. That’s what Kuz is morphing into unfortunately, at such an early stage of his promising career. It’s one pass and shoot offense when Kuz is on the floor. He doesn’t even look for his teammates. You think they would have tolerated this bs with Randle? Gtfoh Luke and Magic!!

This ain’t mamba mentality....this is donkey mentality.

PS: I’m really extremely pissed they lost this game to a team which is breathing down our necks in the play off standings. What makes it worse is the manner in which they literally forfeited the game.

I find it tough to watch thee games. I thought it would be easier with Lebron injured so that I can watch the kids develop but not so much. I don't see any structure out on the floor offensively or defensively and imo that's on the coach, but I also blame Lakers' management as well. I've defended Luke for a while but this isn't GS, these aren't kids who know how to play like they do, there isn't a Draymond Green to anchor the defense, there aren't so many guys on the floor who already know their roles and know how to play without the ball. My issues with Luke: Since there are certain players on the team not named Steph, Klay or Draymond then how about tailoring an offense to your players' needs? This is that Phil Jackson mentality of this is my system and players have to fit in it. I'm glad he's finally settled on a lineup and his rotations but I've always felt that the best coaches are the ones who have a system where they can install things to help out their players but it looks like these kids can't run anything decent in the halfcourt. Even if there were offensive issues, and the defense was solid then I wouldn't be so irritated but they continue to have defensive issues as well. This isn't a Minnesota Timberwolves scenario where we have a young talented 25 and 12 center where we have him spot up while Butler handles the ball but I've seen enough here where I think it's not a good fit. My issues with management: I believe they've created a culture of non-development and impatience towards young players. Every young player won't come out the gates....
