Why would you want a locker room cancer like Butler on team? He's been a problem on each team he's been on, can't chalk that up to " his just a passionate player ". Hard Pass !!!! Imo

Say we trade for Embiid, let Sixers deal with Butler. Lol

Haha I wish we could trade for Embiid. Sadly, there isn’t a current player on our roster(excluding Lebron) that is worth his potential price tag. Not even as a group lol.

But we can dream!

While Butler destroys the rest of the team. Duds playing next to best center in league and they're winning, but he's not happy with his role, Pass!!!!

About two weeks ago, I wouldn't touch Butler with a 10 foot poll. With what I have seen with this team without LeBron recently, I'd trade Ingram and Lonzo for him immediately. That's really sad considering I don't really like him. This team is absolute garbage without LeBron out there. We can't have one all-star carrying the team. It has never worked.

Think about it guys. We could have had PG for Ingram. Man that kills me inside knowing this.

Well hindsight being 20/20, clearly that was a mistake and PG13 let us know it was a mistake by not even talking to us during his FA period. Those are the breaks.

Lakers should engage AD trade talks right now before Boston gets into the bidding war. We stand no chance if Boston comes into the equation. I say explore the Kawhi scenario as well, just for kicks sake.

Josh Hart after the Christmas Day miracle vs GSW:

“The narrative is that it’s LeBron and the Lakers. Obviously, we hope he’s ok, but we’ve got a lot of good players…If he’s down, we’re ready to step up. We’re not scared of the spotlight.”

What a joke!!!!

If his idea of stepping up is making 2 of 146 three pointers, than this team is in worse shape than I could possibly imagine.

The assistant coaches suck big time with little resume to show for. I wish he hired some experiences assistants in the first place.

I do not like Butler at all. He has problems getting along with his team mates. He is a cancer in the locker room. Now I get disgusted with the young Lakers also, but we got to remember that they are still young and it takes at least five years in the nba for a young draft pick to mature and really show what they really are. I think most of the forum members are throwing in the towel on the young core, but we got to take a step back and realize that the team has some critical injuries on some very important players. What we actually need is one more super star to make this team a very dangerous team. But this is not going to happen this season IF Magic and Perlinka are smart. We have to wait until this season is over and then catch a free agent. And at the same time we retain our young players, and by next season with two super stars and our four young players more matured, this team will be legit.

We are only through the half way mark and we might as well just enjoy the wins and losses, and see how hard it is for a young top draft pick to develop in the nba. Lets just ride this season in tack, and see what happens for next season.

Even if the Lakers were to make the play offs this season, they would not go very far with the team we have. But I do not believe the Lakers should get impatient and sell the farm for one player, then we would still have to get a bunch of scrubs to fill around the two super stars. You also have to remember LeBron is not that young anymore and the only way for him is down.

Still can't believe that this team doesn't have a shooting coach. WTF

Agree, but I'd look for another star to trade for.

And after 5 yrs. What if they are what they are? Hasn't taken other good or great young players 5 yrs.

Not saying trade them all, but if you can trade a few and get back a young player that's already great, than you do it!!!!

Take AD for example, they'd still have money left to put good players around him and Lebron.

The way we're looking we couldn't trade for the Nets center or Dinwiddie.

I think they should go win now. The warriors have shown vulnerability & they should take advantage of Lebron’s presence.

They have killed their stock. Lol. Right now it’s a firesale, wherein you will have to settle for a scrub for scrub straight up swap...Lmao!!

Abosulutely. BI has been very disappointing. I expected him to pop this being his 3rd season and all. Apparently he's trending more towards Wesley Johnson. Not good at all.

Say we go covert and tell Lebron to take rest of season off. That way you can bring back your Tank thread. See if they can tank their way to Zion. Lmfao!!!!!

He could also help out by directing traffic from the top.
