Please post your predictions for the upcoming contest vs. the Denver Nuggets . The guys must do what well to get the win? Which opposing player(s) should Los Angeles focus on? Will the game be up-and-down type or a defensive struggle? Which Laker will step up this game?

I'm sorry, Murry is obnoxious. That guy has bothered me since the time he did that pompous dribble through Lonzos legs after the game had already ended. Also, are these announcers actually supporters of the Lakers? It really doesn't appear that way. I think it's time we replace them.

Why don't the lakers play Wagner? If he is healthy, I think they should give him a shot, maybe he might be better then Beasley.

Lonzo struggling behind the arc. I guess he thinks he is better at shooting long shots then driving. It is sad when the lakers have to depend on Lonzo to be the three point shooter when we are paying big bucks to KCP.

Nice pass from Kuz to Zo for the dunk. We need more of that from the lakers.

There goes Zo with another ankle injury. He will take three weeks off for that.

I am amazed that Paul Millsap at 33 is still as good as he is.

He deserves the time off. He has had one good game for the season.....

Nuggets is another team that has the lakers number. They play tough games against the lakers. I think our lakers are in trouble on tonights game. With Zo going down with an ankle injury and Hart still not 100%, lakers are virtually without a legit point guard.

Lakers look terrible tonight. Not a good sign. I think Magic and Perlinka have had enough of this and might start looking at the trading with other teams.

Nice shot by Stephson. Need to get him involved more on the offense. I notice Ingram when he is on the three point area he just dribbles the ball from side to side and when he decides to take a shot it is too late because the defense has already set up. Takes too long to get his shot off. He should stop dribbling so much.

Kuz has a nice floater. He should use it more often.

Hmm? There a source? Magic didn’t seem to want to jump the boat on our team like every other fan does when the Luke thing got brought up. We won the last 9 of 11 games or something like that before Orlando. Orlando and Denver just seem to play really well against us, not to mention we handed Denver their first loss of the season, they may be out for our necks tonight

I hope they start by trading themselves. LA’s biggest problem is a management team who put together a team that is lacking any toughness inside and they still want to add another small forward during the offseason.

Are there any specialists on this team?

Lakers down by twenty in the fourth. I do not think the lakers are going to win. So time to change the channel.

Our guys get so empty minded on defense. It’s really our biggest issue. Play defense and offense will follow, we can score but these guys have no urgency on d. I’ve seen 5 random pickups at the local gyms play better team defense.

Well Luke can only do so much with what he has. He really does not have any three point shooters that he can depend on to hit with any consistency. If I remember correctly when he took over for Kerr he looked good with the three point shooters he had in that team. He does not have that kind of talent in this team. Lakers should have gone after a Reddick, Korver or even the old timer that used to be with the Clippers. Can not remember his name, but that guy still shoots good. But maybe they really do not care for this season how it turns out, maybe they are looking for next year.

One of those games. Guys just can't buy a bucket, and it's usually just one and done, while Denver is getting too many offensive rebounds. Wagner is in- let's see if he can bring some energy.

I guess Svi is a good practice and summer league shooter. Because he don't hit $hit in the regulation games.

Mike brown looked good when he took over for Kerr too, what's your point?

Yeah it's tough to win vs Denver on the road- even if there were good energy and solid overall play, it still would have been iffy to win. Everyone would've had to played their A game to get this one. So as long as the guys bounce back the next game vs the Pacers, it'd be okay.

My point is that some in this forum are blaming Luke for losing games. My point is that Luke if he had the talent that he had on the "Warriors he would look like the best coach in the nba, BUT! he just does not have that kind of talent in the Laker team he has right now. Please don't try to tell me that Ball is a legit three point shooter. KCP is not consistent. Ingram, Kuz and Hart are not consistent three point shooters. So that is why I said that Luke is doing the best he can with one super star who by the way is not a three point shooter either, and a bunch of mediocre players. So quit pointing fingers at the coaching staff, they can only do so much with what they have.

YOU were one of the members in this forum that wanted to team to rebuild. So you even convinced me that it was the way to go. But now some of you are already throwing in the towel and patience for the youth movement to improve is starting to heat up.

Lets face it, the Lakers are not going to win a championship this season. Maybe next season if we can get another super star to help LeBron out and the young players we have will be more experienced and will start to peak out as to what they really were going to be as mature nba players, we might have a chance to win a championship.

You mentioned that Ball does not have to be a super star to win a championship, and you mentioned Derek Fisher as being an example. Well! Let me tell you something. IF Ball could shoot close to how Fisher used to shoot, I would be the first one to say Ball was a great point guard. Fisher was one of the best pressure shooters to play that position. You make it sound like Fisher was a nobody. He was good!

Just read this morning where Kawhi will most likely will sign with the Clippers next season. That does not surprise me at all since Jerry West is now a consultant and is also an adviser role. He was lured by Wong and Ballmer who college friends of West at Harvard. If West is involved on trying to get Kawhi to the Clippers, I believe he has more pull then Perlinka and Magic to get him. So maybe the Lakers should start looking at plan B as to who else would be willing to come and play with LeBron and the Lakers.

Any coach in the NBA would win games with the warriors roster. I don't care what Luke did with them because it has zero relevance. But you know what Luke could do? Tell HIS players to shoot LESS 3's. It isn't rocket science that a team that lacks shooters shouldn't shoot as many 3's.

Yes I wanted the franchise to rebuild, it takes time and patience. You don't then go out and sign one of the best players in the league that is ball dominant and then expect the youth to just readjust on a whim. The FO lacks a plan and direction. The fans are not the ones putting pressure on anybody, just go read quotes from magic and it's pretty clear where the pressure is coming from.

Getting back to Ball and Fisher. Fisher wasn't a franchise player, but he was a damn good fit next to Kobe. You know who isn't a great fit next to Ball? Anyone who is ball dominant. So why bring in LBJ and expect Ball and Ingram to suddenly become off the ball players. Both need the ball to be effective. The roster is not balanced and the vets don't offer much more than what the youth already brought.

So yes the Lakers are not going to win a championship this year, I don't think they will win one any time soon either.
