Welp, that's it. I'm out. Fu*k this franchise, well F*** this front office! Biggest sell out job in sports history. I'm out. Until James and Magic are both gone I just won't give a shi* about the NBA. Fuc* Jeannie too! Fuc! Worst day in Lakers history!

Bro Lebron just came. I’d rather have 4 years of lebron then PG. even with the age gap. Lebron is the best player in the NBA

I don't have any huge problem with it. As long as we keep Ingram, Randle, Kuzma, Hart, Ball.

He is the best player on the planet and it's not even close. And doubters will see why this season. We will also see the playoffs, you can book it.

I know it's terrible thing to have runner up to MVP of last season, who played in 101 straight games last year. Wait and we only have him for 4 years. I'm pretty sure LeBron will be at minimum top 10 player on his 4th year with us.

Wait and we didn't lose any of our core 5 guys young guys.

*at the time of this post.

Let's go get Cousins and I'm a happy guy.

We signed the best player in the NBA and have him for 4 years, and currently we have not gutted our team. I am excited.

Lol.

Ray that is Calis inner Kobe speaking. Lebron has been his bete noir forever. Hopefully he will cool off and realize we just got the best player in the league and gave up nothing.

As for MVP, like Kyrie Irving, no friend of Lebron said, Harding won the media MVP but the players know Lebron is the real MVP.

Let's hope Ball's knee is healed by the start of next season and we need a center.

LOL...I feel your pain bruh! I pretty much checked out on the team 3 years ago. Now we'll see what they do. Does JR take the QO? He's a steal for $5.5, so I hope the answer is yes. If they try to get Gordon he wants a max deal, so there's our 2 FA, and he plays PF, so that's Julius to the bench. Then you trade him before the deadline. Anyways, it comes down to what they do next. Could be Lillard is coming to town. I might be able to get over LBJ IF they get guys I like to round out the team. If not, and it's a year of watching that guy play hero ball like in CLE...I just won't watch any more games. Trade Ball FOr Beverly or Walker, and sign and trade JR? Keep Kuzma/Hart, trade Ingram for Lillard or McCollum? Screw KL.

Holy $hit!!! That lends credence to the fact his wife was at Sierra Canyon school getting enrollment papers a couple weeks back. Frankly, I don’t have an issue with this. In fact, I’m excited. He’s a beast and still has a number of great years left. And, we still have our youth and plenty more money to spend so I don’t think we are done stacking the roster yet. It’s going to be a fun season for most of us to watch.. Well most except for JJCali! lmao

Bad deal but hey, Lakers over everything. Cheering for another trophy no matter what. I do feel like Lebron “gave up”. Wasn’t there a report or rumor half a year ago saying he would come to LA to setup his post playing career. And “maybe” win with a third franchise. Pretty much riding the wave.

Great day in Laker history!

I’m hoping the Lakers run this team for a year, then re assess next summer to see where we are at.

If we do sign Cousins, I’m hoping it will be short term.

To clarify. It’s a bad deal if things play out like I think they do and Lebron starts getting what he wants all over again, playing the same way Miami/Cleveland did which is the ball is Lebron and shooters spot up. It’s a bad deal if we replace Luke because Luke wouldn’t bend to LBJ. If we get rid of Ingram, kuz, Hart, Zo, Randle, etc. for better “established” stars, then it’s a bad deal. Otherwise...yay...

I never thought he would commit long term with any team. 4 years is something he never gave Miami/Cleveland. It was always 1-2 yr deals. That’s another win. We finally won the free agency. This is reminiscent of the Shaq signing. Lmao!!!

I know one thing, if you weren't a lakers fan when we had a lineup of Jordan Clarkson, Wayne Ellington, Ryan Kelly, Tarik Black and Robert Sacre, keep on trucking.

It’s ok we have him now. He is a laker and in better shape than most players in their twenties tbh. I’m gonna celebrate like it’s 1996 all over again when we landed Shaq. LOL!!

Slief,

I said when that happened here that that told the whole story and he was coming.

If we keep the kids I'm OK with it. And if we get Cousins then I'm thinking this: if the kid's really really improve who knows what could happen? Lebron is that great and the only player GS fears, for good reason. Remember this is the guy who went to eight straight finals and beat GS. And don't forget how he played in losing to them. He's all that, man. No denying it.

What I'm scared of is us still trying to trade Ingram and Kuzma for Leonard. Or signing Capella or Cousins and letting Randle walk

Interesting thing now is who follows his tail over here? I can see a lot of established vets come here helping out. Just don’t get rid of the kids

Getting Lebron long term that is will ensure Leonard coming to Lakers next season without giving up the young assets. Well, giving up Nance & Clarkson was straight up robbery deal after they help us getting some cap space.

Trade deal: A++++++++

This is for Dan gilbert screwing us in CP3 deal a few years back.

I suspect that is next. I think the LeBron deal was pretty much a foregone conclusion to those who were in the know weeks back. Remember Jeanies tweet: “Do not ever underestimate“. That was right around the time that LeBrons wife was at Sierra Canyon allegedly getting enrollment papers. Then there is Levares quotes that it’s going to happen. I think they knew he was signing. Thing I’m still wondering about is Ariza... I know what I heard from his cousin. Not sure where he’d fit into the rotation. Now I am also winding if Randle is going to stick around.

I think Magic and Rob knew days if not weeks ago that George wasn’t signing with the team. I think the only ones surprised were the fans and media and as I said above, I think they knew LeBron was coming days if not weeks ago. I also think this explains why they weren’t pushing to hard for KL as they don’t want to give away the farm. Obviously time will tell on that one because they most certainly aren’t done making moves.
