Forget the Tank? Never!!! That's what's gotten me through last few seasons. Lol

Now I'm on Cavs Tank watch , Clarkson has been doing his part, just need Nance Jr. to come on board ,need that Cavs pick to move up into teens. Lol

We have the current crop of talent due to the tank. It’s the tank which infused a fresh a lease of life into this organization. The valiant commanders we had starting from dantoni to Bozo to Luke skywalker went the distance to ensure “flawless futility.” Lol.

Imagine a few years ago we had guys like Xavier Henry, Ronnie Price, Wes Johnson, Sacre (dunk champ), Chris Kaman, Kendall Marshall, Ryan Kelly etc..etc. Now compare that to the current roster. Lmao!!!

Don't get why people say if they sign both ,Randle is gone. They can free up money to sign him easily or go over cap to re-sign him.

Yeah, that's the one thing I like about the trade they made. It freed up just enough space to sign two max guys and Randle if they have to. They'd just have to stretch Deng.

But the reason people think that, is because Randle still has that cap hold. So without stretching Deng, they don't have enough space to sign 2 max and resign Randle. They'd have to renounce Randle to get George & James. So prior to that trade there was no chance of that happening.

It is true that the tank help the lakers draft Randle, Ingram, Kuzma, DLO, Clarkson, Nance and Ball. But what is hard to see is that tanking was very painful for most laker fans. So we get these young good college players and see them develop as a group and then reality hits where management is getting anxious to go for a title and the trading starts. Hard to see these young kids get traded away. But I guess if you want something of value, you have to offer something that is young and good or great potential still on that player.

Like Randle, his rookie year he only played one game and he broke his leg Oct 29 2014. So we really can not even count that season, so Randle really has only played three seasons with the lakers. He is very good power forward and punishes his defenders with his physical ability.

The danger is that the lakers have too many power forwards: Kuzma, Randle, Deng, Frye, Wear, so if we get LeBron, that is another power forward. He can play small forward as well as Paul George. Besides Deng, If the lakers were to give a new contract to Randle, he would be the second highest paid power forward with the lakers.

You can go over cap to re-sign own player. And they said a couple of weeks ago they don't mind going over cap and paying luxury tax for right players.

LBJ is a SF, he's always played SF, but he can play PF when needed.

You're smarter than this! THEY CAN'T SIGN THE TWO MAX PLAYERS WITHOUT RENOUNCING RANDLE. Unless they stretch Deng. No one said they can't go over the cap to re-sign their own players. Got it now?

They didn't actually tank. At no point did they lose games on purpose. Smh. They just sucked! WE tanked as fans on here! 😂

So it's like I said easy, STRETCH DENG.

Also don't think they'll offer Randle a max contract.

Yeah, that's what I was saying. They can sign 2 max players and sign Randle (agree he won't get a max deal) IF they stretch Deng. If they don't stretch Deng then they don't have the room to sign all 3. But, just like you, I don't think they'll be signing 2 max free agents this offseason.
