I like IT man, I don't know what's everyone's gripe with him, he is a breath of fresh air. He is the only one on the team that has that true fire and passion inside of him, you just don't see that with the young guys. IT is one of the biggest reasons we've even been winning games. I'm not saying I want him back after this season because him and Lonzo starting together just won't ever work, but I like what he has contributed to this team for the short time he's been here.

I agree. And he isn't even 100%. I remember people here regretting we didn't get him years ago when he wanted to be a Laker.

He doesn't want to come off da bench. Otherwise, he would be great for Lakers next year. Especially as we are embracing the three point culture in a big way.

One of the biggest reasons? Have you seen the numbers Randle, KCP and Lopez have been putting up lol.

Well yeah, if you compare numbers in the last 10 games Isaiah has arguably better numbers than everyone except for Julius.

IT is a high risk / high reward player right now, he has directly helped us win games and he has directly helped us lose games as well. Also Randle has just as much fire as IT does on this team and he had the fire before IT came here.

It would be great to sign a willing IT to come off the bench for us next year, but that is not happening as he made sure to let the world know that, since his role with us has been the bench. I was all for IT a year ago before we got Lonzo, but I much rather have Lonzo as our starting PG then IT.

PS, I bet Clarkson and Nance wish they were back with us having fun and what not. lol

Yeah but Zo's body is not ready for the rigors of the NBA. We need a good back/up and/or 6th man. Without it his back up is Ennis and Zo's had some injuries, and will continue to. Even worse if they expect too much of him. I'd manage Zo's minutes and share them with IT. So more some less depending on the game and the situation. It's insane to expect a rookie PG to lead a team anywhere. Give IT a 2 year deal with an option to see how it plays out. Pay the man.

No way he comes here next year. Everybody knows Lonzo is our guy. IT made it very clear that his next job is a full time starter. So I doubt he takes a job like the one you described. IT has to much pride, I would to if I was him after what he did last year.

Possibly. But that depends on what offers he gets. Who needs a new starting PG in the league? Esp one who, however good/active he is, is 5'9". When a lot of teams are using the point forward idea. Simmons, LBJ among others, are....

If he gets back to Boston shape, then that is the way to go. Call him a "co-starter."

With Lonzo and IT, you have the best of both worlds. Keep Julius Caesar and add PG13. Done.

All the other West teams are beatable in a year or two.

I'm with you Baad. The more I see of BJ's antics the less I like the idea of him aging well here. Chances of Westbrook bolting for LA are slim to none (and would cost a ton to get him).

Cousins is done, at least for a cple seasons, is my guess. Then it's wait and see. Not that PG didn't have his own mega bad injury, but he's come back at a high level. And has been healthy since. Enough time has passed. Seems like a good human being. We have a strong record since Dec. In fact since that Sacramento game everyone got excited about that started the turnaround, where I said don't get too excited until they do it for a while, then they did it for a while so now I have to eat crow lol. Convince IT to sign as a co-starter, and sign PG and JR, then give that a year to see how things go until summer of 2019 and go from there. Rome wasn't build in a day. Neither will the Lakers be. But they should start rising from the ashes from this point on. And maybe we'll get someone interesting in the draft. Position ourselves for the post BJ era, when GS will be winding down along with the KLove's and CP's etc. Then we rise to dominance.

Thomas has played 14 games so yes comparing the players to the same amount of games is extremely fair lol.

Not to mention the Portland win and the GSW win (without half the team). Are we forgetting the 1-3 games which we won with IT? Lol.

Bron has "Politician's Syndrome" -- he blames everyone else for his failures. Now that it is clear, short of hitch-hiking with a Championship team, that he'll never catch Kobe, let alone MJ, it is the GM's fault, the Coach's fault, the Man in the Moon's fault.

On the downside of a great career, he is a walking dissension-maker; the fact that Kyrie didn't want to play with him says it all...

Also, playing in a much tougher division opens him up to both injury and excessive losses. It is a lose/lose proposition.

NO NO A THOUSAND TIMES NO!

So because Shaq and Kobe didn't want to play with each other says it all too? Your logic is wack dude.

I'm not bothered if he comes or not, it's not anything we can control anyway.

So when I write B J (put together) for my latest acronym for Lebron, the site changes it to his full name...and writes (sic) ... funny...
