Bulls have a nice young team. I wonder if their management team is trying to move their young talent to have a chance to sign big names?

Haha, I see what you did there!

One of the problems of this new, fast NBA is that injuries are the determining factor in everything. If Steph gets injured, all bets are off. Zo gets injured, a great, surprising Lakers squad is derailed. Kawhi Leonard is injured and Pop is not such a genius... I like our team. Think about it. We have two dynamic scorers in Clarkson and Kuzma, a bull in Randle and an X Factor in BI. We do need a center who doesn't who doesn't shoot threes like a blind Harden and plays like a center -- and this could be Lopez....

And if Zo can avoid the injury bug, we are good to go.

Add ONE experienced star -- like PG13 -- and we are there.

To trade away the farm on anybody over 33 or 34 is idiocy. (LeBron!) Did we not learn anything from the Steve Nash fiasco?

'Nuff said.

Why would we trade for LBJ, plus he has no trade in contract, that he's already said he wouldn't waive.

Good win by the Lakers. Ingrams played really good to close the game. He hit some free throws towards the end of the fourth quarter to clinch the game. He had been struggling, but when the chips were down he made every one of them.

Good game Lakers.

It's just Ingram, Axle. You're always adding an "s"

I thought you said we were already there. Didn't you predict we were winning the championship this year?

I generally put a wager in Vegas for us to win it all. This "tradition" died when Jimbo took over and I stopped wasting my money.

I did not go to Vegas this fall so, again, I skipped the wager.

But I do predict, if Magenko don't screw it up, that this nucleus can win it all next year or the year after. One major player -- like PG13 or Cousins -- can put us over the top.

That Cousins is out makes it impossible to us to be a contender this year.

But next year...WOW!

LOL! You are right JJCali. I guess it was just a habit of adding the "S". Thanks for reminding me.

PG-13 would definitely spread the floor. Cousins might have a major injury, so he might be out for quite awhile. I do not believe the Lakers are hurting for a center IF the coaching staff would concentrate on teaching Lopez to post up more instead of shooting so many three's. Nothing wrong with maybe three or four attempts from the three point line to keep the defense off balance, but when he wants to set up camp on the three point line, it is ridiculous. Those are very low percentages. But I have noticed that when he gets close to the paint, he can score, rebound, block shots, and that is what the Lakers need.

I sure hope that Magic and Perlinka do not try to go after LeBron. First of all he is not liked by most Laker fans. The only reason why LeBron is such a big name in sports is because they have surrounded him with every player that he wants. When you are surround by so many good players, it makes LeBron look like he is the man.

And LeBron still has only three rings (which should be two or less if Manu hit some free throws, Ray Allen missed that three or Kyrie clanked that lucky shot) and Kobe (and Magic and Cap) have FIVE FIVE FIVE without any manipulation...and NO REFS giving them the slack that LeBron gets...

Take that LeBron...

I do not want the Lakers to give him a chance to catch Kobe and company in rings...that would really get me MAD MAD MAD!!!!

Imagine a LeBron statue in front of Staples? I would puke.

Lol, I'm pretty sure FO doesn't care about him catching Kobe, in fact they'd be very happy if he did it on Lakers.

KKennon: It was Baad that mentioned Kobe, not me. I am not worried about anybody passing Kobe's championship wins. I just have never liked LeBron because in my opinion LeBron has always been held up by the media as the best in the world, and I just do not believe that. IF he was as good as they claim, he should have more championships then what he has because he has had every sharp shooter he can get to surround him, and yet he only has three rings.

Plus he always took a pay cut to stack up with elite players. I would bet anybody that if he was to come to the Lakers it would be for the maximum that he could milk the Lakers for and for long contract. He would not take a pay cut if he was to sign with the Lakers. Now that he is going down hill, he comes to the Lakers. Magic or Perlinka would be stupid if they went after him. I know he has a no trade clause, but he knows he is not going to win anything in Cleveland, so he can opt out of his agreement.

Sorry for all you that adore that man, but that is just the way I feel.

It's all good, and I don't adore him, but I see his talents and I'm sure going to be a hater like most , because if Kobe. As far as him taking a pay cut ,don't know!!! If he wants a chance to win another chip he will. But like I said, don't really want him on Lakers at this stage of their development.
