And what has Russell done this year? Nothing ... and Moz? Nothing

What's your point?

I'll tell you right now ... if we had 2 max guys on our roster , we wouldn't be where we are now ... facts.

Russell has been good. And we don't have 2 max guys. What does that have to do with anything?

My point was we're not blaming current FO for the past FO mistakes, like you stated. we're specifically discussing the moves they've made or have made clear they will attempt to make.

We ain't even halfway of the season & we are already evaluating FO’s moves. Are we in 2k mode? Haha!

Randle has played better this season, but star!!! Just No !! If he ever improves his shooting ( just a mid-range shot would be nice) ,than maybe. And Randle hasn't been solid almost everything game this season, look down right terrible on defense early in year, and still has night where he looks bad on that end. Do get why people ,not just you JJ, keep trying to make him put to be something he wasn't supposed to be coming out of draft. He was protected to be a good rotation player , 3rd or 4th opt on good team.

But like I said on another thread, if I'm Lakers I'd try keeping him if price is right. But he definitely has to work on getting a shot away from basket (like Aaron Gordon has in Orlando) , he gets there and we can talk about star !!!! Imo

Agreed. I'm not saying he is a star. But like you said, if he gets a decent jump shot, he'd be there.

Randle frustrates me, he gets you a good statline here & there but sometimes he freaks me out. Its more than the stats,He always had open teammates but doesn't give them the ball. I believe he lacks basketball IQ & correct fundamentals to play the game the right way. He is already in his 4th-5th season & i don't see it changing , because of its arrogance & stubbornness to listen.

To me, he is a double edged sword. Gets a good play in 1or 2possessions then makes the wrong plays more than 5 times the next.

Now all we have to do is hope Pels fall out of playoff race. I'll also be rooting for Wolves against OKC tonight. Lol

Yup I’m guilty for marking all OKC and Pels games as well. Lol

Wait the previous regime traded Russell? You mean when people blame Magic and Rob for saying they are keeping cap space to chase 2 max free agents, that they'll be active in trades, and then Woj says Randle, Nance & Clarkson have been made available? What does the previous regime have to do with any of that?... can't make this up.

They drafted all those players and signed terrible contracts .Magic and Rob are trying to clean it up. The only way they could is by trading Russell with Moz to get that terrible contract off the books. And trade all these guys who can't shoot and have terrible basketball IQ.

Like I've said before. Maybe Rob and Magic don't value some of the young guys from the last regime like some fans and other teams do. They did not draft them. Of course Magic is going to pump up every player before the season. All gm's in every sport do that and end up trading those players when they don't live up to the hype. It happens every year for decades .

I'm not a homer , but I can at least give these guys a few years to make their plan work. Thank god they did not sign any guys to long term deals before this year or we'd be really screwed.

Agree 100%... he's a stat filler but not a "winning " player.

He has terrible vision and court awareness

OKC is going downnnn....like Donkey Kong. Lmao!!

Idk but PG is not looking that good. He’s never been the same after that unfortunate foot injury he sustained few years ago. Doesn’t have that same explosiveness to his game.

Think he looked great last year in Indy, but agree ,he hasn't quite the same. But also think playing next to Westbrook has something to do with the too.

One problem I see Magic is they fell to 7th, Pels 8th, but look at teams behind them if you bring up conference standings, not much hope there of one of them overtaking OKC or Pels...smh

Looking at PG I don’t think he’s staying there. His body language is absolutely horrible. He seems disgusted. Like you said it must be playing alongside Westbrook. It’s a Christmas miracle how KD lasted there for so long.

Anyways I feel PG is gone irrespective of the fact that they make the playoffs. Whether he comes to the lakers or somewhere else remains to be seen.

Yeah, heard someone say that the other day on Cowherd, body language not good, they thought he'd leave regardless, unless they make finals.

Lou Williams just dropped 50..!!

He might be voted into the All Star this year. Hard to argue with that any way you slice it.
