Saw today that the Warriors signed Nick Young.

I thought that was a great move and actually one of the biggest free agent moves this summer.

Not because he was the best free agent but because of what his particular skill set brings to that particular team and what it means.

He gives them something they never had, a legit flame thrower off the bench and remember he played terrific defense for the lakers last season.

This Golden State team is the most complete and imposing one put together yet and I think may have a shot at the NBA regular season record again.

I suspect in the back of many of their minds the thought of getting that record and this time finishing it lurks. It would in mine if I had been on that team that lost to Cleveland in the finals.

And if they do get it, barring catastrophic injury, they will certainly cap that record season off with the title this time.

It's not a question of who will win the title next year, but what Golden States regular season and playoff records will be on their way to the championship.

Sooner or later the class clown was bound to be in the right place at the right time. He's a one trick pony, but GSW needed his trick, more punch off the bench. Plus the starters may get a bit more rest with the stronger bench they'll have next season. Things are looking good for a team that had no draft picks.

Meanwhile we've done nothing. Must be the water in LA. I've said it before and I suppose it bears repeating. It's a game of all or nothing here.
