I think Dwight stays.

Metta, Blake, Duhon, Ebanks and Jamison are gone.

Pau will be traded at the deadline.

We need to trade Pau in the offseason. We have saw what rumors can do to players. We need our players to play with confidence and stay focus. If we wait til the trade deadline then it will most likely ruin our chemistry.

We need to get young, athletic, and defensive. Amnesty Metta, don't resign Ebanks, Duhon, nor Jamison, as mamba24 says above. There are a few people I wouldn't mind seeing with us next year.

Point Guards

Devin Harris

Jarret Jack

Mo Williams

Nolan Smith (2nd string)

Shooting Guards

Kyle Korver

Marco Belinelli

Tony Allen

JJ Redick

Nick Young

J.R. Smith

Small Forward

Corey Brewer

Dorrell Wright

Power Forwards

JJ Hickson

Centers

Zaza Pachulia

We need players who can create their own shot and hold their own on defense.

Yes it should be a very interesting off season for the Lakers. The pieces just never fit properly and the end result was a bad sweep in the first round. We'll see what happens.

I remember telling @LakersReporter on @TWCSportsNet the day after Game 1 that I wasn't sold the Lakers believed they could beat the Spurs. And perhaps rightly so.

But when you don't even believe, then you are definitely going to get steamrolled like this if you don't have your best guys.

Frank words from Andrew Goudelock now to that effect: "These (Spurs) guys have been together for seems like 15 years. They've been together since I was a little kid. ... You can't expect to come and have instant success against a team like that, especially since we haven't even been playing (together). We basically threw a team together."

Trade Pau, Blake, And Meeks

Release Duhon, Metta (amnesty), Ebanks, And Sacre

Resign Howard, Clark, Jamison , Morris and GLocke

Sign Mo Williams and Kyle Korver

Nash I hope retires but I doubt it

Trade Pau to a team who needs him but also looking for an expiring contract. I personally like Granger and Hansbrough.

Then maybe Blake to Boston for Courtney Lee. Blake is expiring and Lee has 3 years left for about 15m I think idk but Lee is what we need plus friends with DH.

Nash / Williams / Morris

Lee / Glocke

Granger / Korver

Clark / Hansbrough / Jamison

Howard / Hill

We need a lil depth, we need players who can hit a consistent outside shot. Williams, Lee, Granger, Clark, and Howard is a lot more athletic lineup then Nash Kobe Metta Pau and Howard. Then I like Korver and Glock off the bench 2 great outside shooters. And Hansbrough is hustle and a good teammate. If Clark gets in the gym this offseason and just works on his game he can be quite the player. We need to keep him around.

-depth

-youth

-speed

-athletism

-consistent shooters

Well Morris is insurance. He's good defensively. And Glocke is not a bad player he just needs the right system. He was Dleague MVP. Ya he's not a must but for cheap he is a nice player.

If lakers decide to remain with this squad and no Kobe. Ratings and tickets being sold will go down while paying a lot of money. Change will come it basically has too. The bobcats this year were possibly more exciting. Imagine no Kobe next year, this team will be so boring. Are option is to bring athletism in and get more uptempo. So we're gunna need to trade or sign highlighters. We might not be a playoff team again but Duhon, Blake, Metta, Pau their just not exactly must see exciting players and with those players other then Pau we will not win. Pau is are only option to bring in players. Go after expiring contracts like Granger. He fits great with Nash and Howard. He doesn't need the ball to be effective. Nash needs the ball, he will create open shots for this excellent shooter and he may help us win more games then Pau would. I'm done with the whole 2 big man thing and no players who can create for themselves. Mo Williams and Danny Granger is what this team needs

Didn't Jimmy Buss run a failed tennis league? He's an idiot and his father made a major mistake in leaving his team in the hands of his idiot son. He made a few key judgement failures this season. Phil was on and Steve Nash was two. D'Antoni's record in the playoffs for the last 15 games is 1 and 14. That's won 1 and lost 14. That's terrible. Dare we compare his record with Phil's? Jimmy Buss is a terrible owner thusfar.

Invest in dwight. And fire d'antoni , our franchise made a team to win now, but made a mistake of not bringing in a "real" system that would win now? Bring in d'antoni and a system that hs never proven to win or work nor duz it fit for our 2 7 footers. Bring in a real coach an a real system , bring in a young athletic wing_drive and shoot guy_lagit , impliment tha system over tha summer and well be good.

D antoni needs to go, his system and philosophy to out score not play defense is garbage. Might of worked in phoenix for a while. But we saw what I did in NY. Get a new coach resign Dwight amesty metta (keep him if we can) I like metta lol. I say we trade pau to gain athletic players on the wings. I like Clark and hill as our PF and back up center
