Hello Dave. I was hoping to be allowed back on this site and want to start by apologizing for my bad behavior a few weeks ago that ended up getting me banned.

There was a new member that was wishing Bynum a career ending injury and I lost it by telling him I wish he got injured. That was rightfully enough to get me banned

Everyone knows how passionate I am about Drew and when that comment was made, I lost my judgment and fired back. I am a hardcore Laker fan and I let that poster get the best of me. I am sincerely apologizing and not just for that night, but for the others also.

I'm not saying what I did wasn't wrong, because it was and there is no excuse. I knew the rules and I blew it.. I am just hoping you could see your way to give me another chance to rejoin the forum.

I've been a member since 2007 and have given a lot of time on laker topbuzz and would like to continue. I also want to apologize to the laker topbuzz members I offended. Some of the mods and I don't see eye to eye and it caused a lot of friction, and my comment that night gave them the ammunition to ban me. I understand the banners situation.

All I can say is that if I am given another chance, I will adhere to the rules and bite my tongue. Again, I've always been passionate about this team and things get heated during debates. I take full responsibility for my actions and understand why I was banned. Again I apologize to the members for my actions and hope to be given another chance. Thank you, Lakerdude.

P.S.

My problem that night, and the many other times, is that I had been drinking, I know that's no excuse, but I am trying to get my drinking under control and not party so much when the Laker games are on. Sometimes I have beers watching the game, and when they lose I over react. I am trying to change that. Hopefully everyone will understand and allow me a chance. Thanks Dave Mods, and all other members. Lakerdude.

I hear you, lakerdude. I have what I'd consider a dangerous drinking problem, so I quit drinking recently, and I haven't had a drop of alcohol in months. This is the first time I've had the courage to admit I have a problem and actually try quitting so as things stand, I'm committed to quitting and no longer drinking alcohol for the rest of my life. I'm doing it for the sake of my health, my safety, and for the sake of my daughter, who I am raising and trying to set a good example for....

So far I'm going strong and not drinking is helping me to stop repeating the same mistakes I made before. Glad to hear you're at least trying to change for the better.

Lakerdude, Steve:

Hey, sorry to hear about those problems. I have had many friends with drinking problems and I know it aint pretty. And I have seem some die from it. If you can't help yourselves, go get some. Its out there if you want and need it. Don't be shy, don't be ashamed. Its your life on the line.

One of my life long best friends goes to NA. He has to or he will die. Thats where he's at. And thats where he will always be forever now. He can't use. Period. Or he will die.

Hope both of you guys make it through that problem. If you need to talk contact me or contact someone. Help is there.

And that goes for any others who are suffering or need help for some reason.

Thanks lakeshowsd and SPQR.

Beer really changes ones mindset. I've benn guilty of that. Something I usually wouldn't write is easy to put down after some alcohol. I hope LTB'ers will forgive me and give me another chance. The worlds all about 2nd chances right? I don't expect it, but am still hopefull. Thanks again for your support. Lakers rock.
