I know it is still to early to talk about the Lakers 4 draft picks that they have in the 2nd round, but I was curious and I looked up Mock Drafts that fans made and I used Bleacher Reports (I know they aren't a reliable source but they do have top 10 things to give people ideas and start thinking what IF) and also I used BSPN to check out these players stats. So I am going to leave it up to you my fellow LTBers to pick 4 of these players. PG.Demetri McCamery height 6'3, weight 200, age 22 and his player traits are shooting, penetrating, and court vision. His stats at Illonis for 10-11 season were 14.6 pts in 33.2 minutes of play, rebounds 3.4, assist 6.1, turnovers 2.9, steals 1.0, blocks 0.2, field goal percantage .452, free throws .724, and 3pts .451. PF.Rick Jackson height 6'9, weight 246, age 21, reach 8'9, wingspan 7'1, and his player traits are rebounding and motor. In Syracuse his season stats were 13.1 pts in 35.6 minutes of play, rebounding 10.3, assists 2.2, turnovers 2.1, steals 1.3, feild goal percantage .588, free throws .533. PF. Nikola Vucevic height 6'10, weight 260, age 20, and his player traits are bball iq, and size. In USC his season stats were 17.1 pts in 34.9 minutes of play, 10.3 rebounds, 1.6 assists, turnovers 1.7, steals 0.5, blocks 1.4, field goal percentage .505, free throws .755, and .349 3pt percantage. PG. Shelvin Mack height 6'3, weight 215, age 22, and his player traits are shooting and penetrating. In Butler his season stats were 16.0 points in 32.1 minutes, 4.5 rebounds, 3.4 assists, turnovers 2.4, .408 field goal percentage, .769 free throws, and .354 3pt percentage. SG. Marshon Brooks height 6'5, weight 190, age 22, and his player traits are penetrating and rebounding. In....

...And exactly which Mocks were you going to? ...None of these players are matching what I've seen in the Mocks that I've been keeping up with. It has been a few days, however.

Vucevic - looks Slovenian. Slovenians can't play basketball. Shoot him on sight.

Lakers need to pack some of these picks and move up into the first round to get a PG or a talented player

This is our guy. We need a point guard to prepare to take over once Fish retires. He can shoot, Rebound & still average 6.1 assists per game.

Let's give him a look. Have him come down to Staples Center for a workout. Then you, cuckroller & LakerRRTX can scout him. I expect a full report on my desk by the morning.

I do not want an untrained draft PG. Trade all four picks plus brown for a quality, proven PG.

We don't need any crappy rookies from a pathetic draft class...

I like your thought, but who would you sugest, there are no many teams offering a helpful PG.

KB24*BM

I've been thinking about it and there's a pg/sg that we can use in the near future, his name is Alec Burks

and he is projected to be pick up late at the first round, he looks to me like a Rajo Rondo but better shooter, though he has to improve his 3pt shot.

Thanks for the suggestion, and I got some of the players I think

Iman Shumpert, Shelvin Mack, Jamie Skeen, Jimmy Butler, and the rest

I got from Bleacher Report.

He was born in Switzerland and raised in Belgium but his parents are from Montenegron and both his parents played Basketball.

I would try to get Kurt Heinrich. I have been wanting him for 3 years, Deron Williams, or someone that can handle and is smart enough to distribute the ball.

Lose Pau, Bynum, Walton, Brown, and get Howard and DWilliams. Is this possible?

It's possible but our Lakers don't want to copy those eastern teams. Our Lakers are original!

Hey there might be a diamond in the rough like a Kobe but Kobe was a 1st rounder picked 13th. Well, too bad Hornets and Hornets fans!

All I want is for us to get a young energetic player who can bring some excitement off the bench and be consistent.

No, Mainly because it would be a move that would not be in our Best Interest. It would be giving Away Far too Much.

Definitely we should get Howard..I like bynum alot, but for a big contract Id rather see the Lakers give it to Howard. Bynum is awesome but his knees are in bad shape.

PF. Jamie Skeen height 6'9, weight 240, age 22 player traits are shooting and his bball Iq. In VA Commonwealth

I would like to weigh in on this. I like picking a pg because it is surely a position of need. I like Cam long and Demetri McCamery. It's key to keep in mind that any PG that comes to the lakers needs to be a knock down shooter because the offense generates wide open looks 4 the pg and sf on a consistent basis.

That being said, I would be ecstatic if we could grab Jamie Skeen. This definitely may be a little biased as i am a VCU student, but I've seen the guy 'do work' at practice and in the weight room while working at VCU stregth and conditioning. the guy is the perfect bench pf for the triangle. He has a great jumper and array of face up moves, solid athleticism and a great work ethic. I've worked one on with the guy and I think he def has carl landry type of talent, except he's taller and not quite as aggressive. I would actually give him a late first round grade. he'll be hitting that 15 foot jumper in the NBA for the next 8-12 years...

They don't need any more young players. I am interested to see what Ebanks and Caracter can do. Ebanks seems to have more promise and upside, although who knows, Caracter may surprise us. Maybe they can convert ebanks into a backup SG, just in case shannon leaves (which I think he will).

Thats the thing.... Jamie is a 5th year guy, he has the experience... I think Ebanks is gna be a good player.. but caracter....idk about him.. he has a tremendous feel in the post and i luv his offensive game..... but just cant imagine the guy playing WITHOUT fouling.. the team needs to get younger and get some fresh legs... I mean... our forth and fifth bigs are ratliff and joe smith... they don't play anyway!... might as well get some guys wit some upside.... the only core guy that we know the lakers have anything invested in that's under 30 is Bynum....

back to the draft talk i say we take a look at josh selby whos a quick talented young guard that will learn a lot, keith benson a big fella with a good touch who gain give our bigs some depth in the near future, and jacob pullen a smart guard who had a rough senior year but ive personally seen him play on the big stage and hes got some talent those are some guys that caught my eye

Lakers only need to draft hustlers, slashers, and solid defenders. They can develope their offensive talents while with the lakers.

Again Yahoo dosn't even have his salarie listed. And on Yahoo Lakers team page it says "Trey Johnson signed for rest of season" Dude stop talking like you know he has a team opion if u dont really know. You dont, "You said I know the we're smart enough to get a team opition on him."

Trey Johnson is signed until the end of this season, which might be only another three games. 76 K is what he gets. No team option. When you are talking about minimum salaries being picked up just until the end of a season, you are not talking multi-year contracts which is when you start talking about stuff like player options, or team options.
