Seriously! Now I know we didn't get to see their reactions all game long... but when it would cut to them following Randle's dunks... stoic. When it would cut to them following IT scoring, pure joy and excitement. Wtf

Btw I had a questions for you pundits...why wouldn't PG13 just chose instead to go to CLE to play with James there? I know it's not his supposed preferred destination in LA. But seems as likely as anything to me. Have to admit KLove/LBJ/PG/ would/could be lethal.

They have zero cap space. Plus reports were that he wanted to play for the Lakers. Not that he wanted to play with LBJ.

Actually before he got traded to OKC, he did say if he got traded to Cavs, he'd opt into last year of his contract next season.

Never heard him say that. Just heard that he requested to be traded to the Lakers.

No quote from George or anything. Just speculation. Even then it says he wasn't willing to commit long term. So I stand by the more believable reports that George's agent asked to be traded specifically to the Lakers.

Before you ask, no, I did not hear him directly say this. But the Pacers have corroborated the report and when George has been asked specifically, he has not denied it at all, he just responded accordingly. So I believe that report.

Good post, KK. Apparently 44% of people on here want LBJ. Or a better way to look at it is to look specifically at option A. Which only received 11%. Cause option B. doesn't tell us quite as much. Who doesn't want AD! Especially if PG is there too. Sure people will take that option. Option C. is interesting, because it basically says, Sure we'll take free agents, just not James. And it has the most votes thus far. Option D. is slightly misleading to me. Because you may not want PG/LBJ, but feel another free....

I picked C and go for AD in FA come 2020, we can always trade Randle and fillers for him if Randle keeps developing. Lol

I picked D cause I feel Pg is not worth the max. He’s been playing like hot garbage these days. I’d rather build around the kids and add KCP and Lopez. Find the 2019 FA more intriguing.

Think a lot of it has to do with playing next to Westbrook, look at how well Victor. Oladipo has been playing in Indy away from Westbrook this year. But I'm fine with D too , can still move players if AD becomes available.

True but he’s taking almost the same number of shots like Westbrook, sometimes even more. Durant held his own rather well with him. Not that he was going to win anything with Westbrook. Lol. Yeah AD, Kwahi seem better prospects.

Kkennon has a point. Not disagreeing with you, but 1. George ain't Durant! and 2. I think Westbrook has become way more ball dominant than he already was when Durant was there.

Look at Melo, he's lucky to get leftovers lol.

Plus fact the Westbrook shoots the ball almost 5 more times per game, and has taken almost 300+ more shots than George.

Westbrook’s usage rate was almost the same or probably higher with Durant. Westbrook was deferring a lot earlier in the season and they were losing a lot of games. He was forced to increase his ball dominance and usage rate cause the two bums around him were useless.

I know George ain’t Durant and I also know that George cannot hang with Westbrook or any other superstar. He is not the same PG post his scary injury which occurred just before the Olympics while practicing with Team USA.

At Melo’s current state, he’s not even worth scraps. Lol. I wouldn’t even swap him for Travis Wear. Smile

Westbrook’s usage rate from the current year all the way back to the 14-15 season:

34.5%.....17-18 (with PG/Melo)

41.7%......16-17 (without Durant)

31.6%.......15-16 (with Durant)

38.4%........14-15 (With Durant )

He has to when the bum is coming up with stats like 5/21 and 4/15. Lol. And I like the way you put the disparity like that. It’s actually Westbrook who has 21 FGA per game and PG has 17 FGA per game. That’s not such a huge disparity considering that he’s earned the reputation of a ball dominant guard. I think that’s more than I would have expected, especially when its his team and PG’s....

I think Pelicans make perfect sense. I heard there is a job opening there as well.

They need someone to go around like king cake baby since the current employee’s contract expired recently..

Yeah, I listen to those guys a lot. They both say keep Randle, a future superstar. I must say, Randle surprised me. He even was ranked on my Bum-O-Meter, which I destroyed with a ball peen hammer after it rated Julius a three. The parts are in some landfill, next to the BlackBerry dump and Deng's dungster.

No, Oladipo is signed through 2021. Heard someone say the other day PG13 could go back to Indy.

That would be a good team. Not a contender, but good.

But I don't think he's going to go back to the team he JUST requested a trade away from lol

All talk. and bravado. Wouldn't expect less. Got a contract situation coming up. Doesn't mean he won't change his tune when the time comes. I could see him splitting starter mins per situation with Ball. To keep Ball from repeatedly getting hurt and for foul trouble and match up purposes etc. Ball is not physically up to NBA standards yet, and won't be for probably a cple years. Assuming he puts in the work.

Yeah that was me. It comes up as a top 3 possible destination for PG in several writer's scenarios, since he wanted to win in Indy and didn't ask to be traded. Indy is one of the few teams who have the cap space, and would likely welcome the idea of a return, given how the team has improved, kind of unintentionally since trading PG13. I don't think anyone could have anticipated Oladipo coming on like that. If Indy thought so, then they are magicians. THe match would be good with Oladipo at the 2 and PG at the 3. Only thing is tho, they already have a cluster of SF's. Then again so do we. Esp one BI.

Don't see IT back at all, unless it's a 1 year contract or mid level money.

Don't think he would go back 1 year after demanding a trade. And it's possible, but don't think they would take him back 1 year after ditching them the way he did. Why would they trust that he wouldn't demand another trade.

I don't think Lue is a good coach, any star would be frustrated with him lol

I agree, any coach the Cavs hired would lead the Cavs to a similar record that Lue has done. I could have coached a team of Lebron / Love / Irving to the finals in the east. Lue's true coaching skills are showing this year, they are losing a lot of pathetic games this year, even with being short handed.

You want to see an amazing coach look at Pop and what he is doing this year with what he has. Any other coach in the league has Pop's team they are fighting to stay out of the bottom 5. It's incredible what he is doing with the Spurs. I don't think another coach even comes close to Pop.

I think Steve Kerr is a little hyped up, won't truly know until he is not coaching a team of 3 -4 all stars. Kerr is great, but I think if he had the Spurs rooster they would easily be in the lottery this year.

Why not just do the old ABA player/coach thing? LBJ is making enough money to do both. So make him earn it if he thinks he can do it better.

Feel bad for Ty. Making millions to be someone's biotch. Oh wait...no I don't. lol BJ (I think I'll use that moniker for him now, just drop the L) needs to give up the roids...he be gettin' a bad case of da roid rage mon.
