The Clips should move to Seattle instead of building an arena in Inglewood.

Rondo was a big pickup this summer, some believe even bigger then signing LaBron. He is an outstanding guard who can still play the game, he brings mental tuffness, good handles and can drain the hoop from anywhere. Getting him was a huge win and it may have convinced LaBron to sign. How can you say no to a team that has Rondo? Even Magic says that Rondo=WINS! or winning is Rondo’s middle name and he will improve LaBron’s game immensely. Magic went on to say that LaBron has never played with such a powerhouse as Rondo and he is going to blow his doors off with his passing, scoring and talent to handle the rock! He said the Lakes may have Rondo come off the bench at first to hide how scary good they will be when Rond is playing

Who is LaBron ??? Just kidding. But LeBron signed before they even got Rondo, maybe getting LeBron was what convinced Rondo to sign, plus the money no one else was offering him. Lol

Wait, are we talking about the same guy? Did you say he can drain the hoop from anywhere? lol Shooting was never his forte. But agreed on his other attributes. Then again he was picked up AFTER LBJ. So I don't think LBJ signed because of Rondo. Rondo has had good years and bad years, and a lot of injuries. So it depends which Rondo we get. I wanted him 5 years ago when he went to Sac. As usual the Lakers (along with Lance) go get players years after I was calling for them hahaha. Someone should really listen to me Wink

I believe he signed strictly to be a mogul in Hollywood. But he'll show up in shape ready to go.

Interesting article. Usually I don't like this publication. They make up all kinds of stuff. But this one sounds about right. On why the Lakers picked up the players they did after LBJ signed.

Here's the whole article, for those not fond of chasing tweets. lol NBA Free Agency Rumors: Jimmy Butler ‘open’ to joining LeBron James on the Lakers Merely signing LeBron James this past summer clearly wasn’t enough for the Los Angeles Lakers. Landing a player of that magnitude comes with a bit of a responsibility. You know James is going to hold up his end of the bargain, so it’s on the front office to surround him with the kind of talent that can live up to the lofty expectations fans have for this franchise. With this in mind, the Lakers will look....

My n^^^a LBJ bringing somebody with him watch. He won’t be the only all star here unless Ingram or Ball take the step.

BI, Rondo, KCP and two unprotected first rounders. Have to wait until December to make salaries work.

Personally don't think he goes anywhere this season, and other teams out there that can make better offers (Celtics). But agree with your trade Mcbill, although I'd try to leave Rondo out of it.

Take back Rondo? No way they accept that trade for one of the top players in the league. It would have to be BI and Kuzma and Lebron LOL...

As the saying goes, you can't teach height. And you can't teach youth, either. Bynum is only 30, believe it or not. Do it Maginka!

And you can't teach good knees either lol...but sure, why not add him to the rest of our cast of misfits lol.

That's gonna be some fun locker room. More like a prison shower lol

But I don't know how the guy thinks he can still play. He has no cartilage. Did he get some surgeries done to try and get them working again? Is there some update on the state of them leg benders? Or is he going to look like a Transformer on the floor with some massive sci-fi knee braces? lol

If he comes on board we will be known as the new Bad Boys for sure. I guess the plan is if you can't out finesse, out play or out shoot GS, you have to outmuscle them.

Don't know about AB, but read an article the other day saying that's exactly what they're going to try to do, outmuscle them and ruff them up. Said Magic saw Houston series and saw that you can't out shoot them.

That technique hasn't worked that well either. Since that's what CLE tried to do each time they met. So they better damn well have some shooters as well. Just in case Wink

I was at Staples the night Bynum went for forty. He was sensational. Shortly thereafter, Kobe accidentally took out his knee. AB might be crazy, but he sure could ball pre-injury. He's only 30. Maybe its vindication time.

That's all well and good but the problem isn't that they are elite at scoring. It's that they are so good on both sides of the ball. Offense and defense.

I really don't think there is a simple solution to beating them, if there was, they wouldn't have been to the finals the past 4 years lol. Bully ball might beat them a game or 2 but it's not enough to get to 4 wins in a playoff series where you are most likely not going to have home court.

For this AB II might be useful afteralll. For example he could clothesline Curry and knock him out of the game. Then Lance could start a fight with Green and get him tossed. Etc etc lol

Agree, but also think Houston would of had them if not for CP3 injury.

It wouldn’t hurt to bring back Thomas Robinson on a 15 day contract. He’s not good at some things but has always shown a freakish rebounding ability and unparalleled motor. He could run the small ball center spot for 10-15 minutes a game. This squad needs rebounding help.

Unfortunately read where Eric Pincus says Lakers don't want him.
